LG’S WORLD SMALLEST WIRELESS CHARGER – WMC 2013



LG Electronics introduced the worlds smallest wireless charger in world mobile congress (WMC 2013) going on  in Barcelona. The device is named as WCP – 300,  At only 6.9cm in diameter, the WCP-300 is designed with portability in mind. Despite its size, the charging area is 1.7 times wider than that of LG’s earlier generation wireless charger and the charger is compatible with a standard 5-pin micro-USB charger.


WCP-300 uses the technology of  electromagnetic induction technology and is Qi certified by the Wireless Power Consortium. Electromagnetic induction creates a magnetic field that in revolve generates an electric current to charge the batteries in devices which are placed on the charging board.
This innovative device from LG will be a positive strength for upcoming LG Smartphones. While comparing to other Smartphone manufactures, it will be powerful. The smallest wireless charger is most expected devices in the present market.
