Blackberry released their first Blackberry 10 device , Blackberry Z10 in India for Rs: 43,490 ($800). According to a press release handed to reporters in Mumbai yesterday. This pricing is a competitive pricing method while comparing to the price of Apple iPhone 5, Lumia 920, Samsung Galaxy S3 and Xperia Z.
Blackberry’s most popular handsets in India, the Curve series, costs from as little as 9,990 rupees, thus indicating that price and comfortability of Smartphones is a matter in Indian market. In Indian market most of them are middle class customers, so the sale of high priced Blackberry Z10 will be based on technology specifications.
In the present condition Samsung attaining a high rate of sale for Samsung Galaxy S3 and other costlier Smartphones in Indian market. So Blackberry is expecting a return back to Indian Smartphones market. Of Blackberry Z10 will became as a success in Indian market, this will be breath for upcoming projects from Blackberry.
