Mobile Phone maker Nokia Wins the technology patent case against HTC
One, Nokia has been granted a ban by the Amsterdam district court over the
technology used in the HTC
One’s microphone , the Taiwanese company’s flagship Smartphone.
The
HTC One is the most awaiting Smartphone from this Taiwanese Mobile phone maker,
this Ban will be a great loss for HTC. The high-amplitude microphone of the HTC
One uses the same dual-membrane mechanism that have been used in the likes of
the Nokia Lumia 720, Which has launched in the last months.
“The Amsterdam District Court has today granted
Nokia’s request for a preliminary injunction against the supply to HTC of
microphone components invented by and manufactured exclusively for Nokia. Nokia
filed this action after it discovered these components in the HTC One; HTC has no license or authorization
from Nokia to use these microphones or the Nokia technologies from which they
have been developed,” this
was the report published by Nokia after this Court injunction.
HTC
ONE is the flagship Smartphone from HTC, and LUMIA 720 is
the High End Smartphone from Nokia Mobiles , so this patent injunction will be
an important matter for the success of both of this Smartphones.
